Step 3 · Choose your domains
Pick the domains that match what your program does
Each domain is a part of the picture an evaluation can capture. Read the definitions, then select the ones that answer your questions. You do not need them all. Your choice carries forward to the next step, where you pick indicators only within these domains.
How to use this page. Tick the domains you want to study. Open Indicators & how to evidence it on any domain to preview its measures, or use Compare measures to see questions side by side. When you are ready, use the bar at the bottom to continue to indicators. Nothing is required; choose what fits your mission and capacity.
Co-design this step
Decide which domains matter with your group, not just the evaluator. A simple card sort and dot-vote, with people who have lived experience in the room, surfaces what is worth measuring and what to leave out. See the domain card-sort exercise →
